Retracting Flange Drums
WYKO Retracting Flange Drums are precision-engineered for tire constructions consisting of large undercut bead profiles.
Common for use with OTR, AGRO, and Aircraft, the deck sections move axially inward (retract) while collapsing radially. This bi-directional movement allows for a smaller collapsed diameter while still accommodating the undercut profile in the bead areas. It also eliminates the arduous task of manually removing the end shells/shoulders after each build cycle.
Drums are provided with robust gap shields/cover plates. Surface finish/coating options are available.
The deck shoulder profile is custom-made to your application needs.
