REC II-5
The WYKO REC II-5 is a continuation of the 2nd Generation REC Drum lineup. Similar in nature to the REC II-3, these drums are comprised of eight radially expanding and collapsing sections, and feature a single point adjustment for set width. By rotating this single point of adjustment with a hand tool, both halves of the drum move laterally opposite each other to increase or decrease bead set width while maintaining centerline. This not only allows for much faster width change, but it also ensures all the shells/doors on both ends of the drum are uniform.
The standard version uses gap shields to cover the lateral width adjustment. The REC II-5 Hybrid models can also utilize central spacers in lieu of gap shields. These drums are designed to fit on the standard WYKO conversion arbor, essentially allowing interchangeability with first generation REC Drums.
